Arizona Home Shows
If you are lucky enough to be selling a home in the state of Arizona consider yourself lucky. Arizona is an area with a thriving real estate industry great homes superlative services and a great climate that makes it one of the most highly sought after areas in which to live in the U.S. Arizona is one of North America’s favorite locales for retirement summer homes and getaways. This is largely due to the amazing weather that Arizona is blessed by all yearround. The weather in Arizona is vastly different from north to south and in fact is broken up into two systems. The first in the northern Plateau is a colder area that borders in Colorado Utah New Mexico. Some light snow is common here in winter and summer temperatures are more moderate. The southern desert regions are what most people imagine when thinking about Arizona. In this area temperatures of 110 degrees are common.
This kind of weather creates an ideal home showing environment as there are no environmental issues that could make the preparation more difficult. Some areas of the nation have to deal with snow rain and other forms of nasty weather when showing homes but in Arizona that is simply not the case. A home seller has a world of options for home preparation in such a great climate. Yards play a huge role in the sale of homes in Arizona it is a natural choice to emphasize the outdoor lifestyle in an area that enjoys over 300 days of clear skies and sunshine on a yearly basis. Arizona is a natural choice for those who want to take full advantage of their outdoor property and this area is home to some of the most beautiful and pristine yards in the nation.
Staging your yard is a great way to help a home sell quicker as yards are generally responsible for much of the first impression that a buyer gets of a home. The yard is where the concept of “curb appeal” begins. Creating a yard that grabs the eye of prospective buyers is one of the best ways to ensure that your home gets the attention it deserves.

Are You Making Money Or Losing Money With A Property
Are You Making Money Or Losing Money With A Property Foreclosure?
Is it even possible to consider making or losing money with a property foreclosure? All the news that you hear about property foreclosure is gloom and doompeople in the streets mortgages defaulted. Of course if you are one of those people suffering through a property foreclosure this is not something to be made light of. Certainly it is a critical problem that we face as a nation. However if you are one of these people chances are you would not be reading this article in the first place. If you are one of these people you would not be wondering about making money or losing money with property foreclosure.
First what are the drivers that enable you to make money with property foreclosure in this environment? At its most fundamental level there is no more earth being made. There is only so much allotted land. Our population continues to grow which means people need a place to live. The law of supply and demand tells us that over the long run real estate values can do nothing but go up.
Unfortunately we are not living in the long run. We are living in the moment. We do not know how long it will take for the long run to move values back up again. However we do know another fundamental market rule. It is applicable to any market that we seek to make a profit in and simply stated it is Buy Low Sell High.
You do not have to wait for some long run population explosion for this maxim to apply. It is hard to imagine being able to buy real estate at a price any lower than once it has been foreclosed. Banks are not interested in keeping some asset on the books that cannot be accurately valued. They are interested in getting these properties off of their books as quickly as possible in many cases for pennies on the dollar.
So here is your first indicator for making money with property foreclosure. This indicator would be if you are buying them from a bank that is motivated to sell them. If you are getting properties for a song you have the first part of the Buy Low Sell High equation.
Before you get to the Sell High part here are some points to consider.
First and foremost you need to determine what needs to be done to the property foreclosure before it can be sold. You bought low but now you need to figure out how much your return is after the initial investment. Other factors that should be included in a dwindling profit margin are factors such as labor cost labor materials time on market and more. The next step would be to determine how quickly the property can be sold. The longer it sits on the market the more it will cost you. Before you make a purchase of a property foreclosure make sure you make a profit that outweighs putting the money into another investment. In other words make sure it makes sense. That is the return to compare tothe risk free rate. That’s what you have to beat. People are doing it and making a fortune.

Anne Shirley The Island Heroine
Anne Shirley The Island Heroine
Although Anne Shirley has always been a character in a play and never a real person in the hearts and minds of those who love the redhaired orphan heroine of Lucy Maude Montgomery’s book Anne of Green gables she is real. Anne just had a birthday; she has now reached the amazing age of 113.
If you don’t know Anne you certainly will by the time you leave PEI her island home and birthplace as well as that of her creator. There have been numerous plays movies and series done on her life. The most recent being Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning which showed on CTV but there has also been the popular Disney series Avonlea.
Anne is characterize by her red pigtails freckled face straw hat and gingham dress her love of summer ice cream and raspberry cordial. Can you believe that after 113 years she still has her own brand of raspberry cordial sold in most island stores? Not bad for a girl who never existed.
The Anne of Green Gables musical plays to packed houses in Charlottetown’s Confederation Theatre every year and has done since its inception in 1964 and the newest Anne musical Anne amp; Gilbert tells of her later life based upon the nine books that make up the series on the life of Anne. Anne and Gilbert is produced in the Summerside Eptek Theatre but is also produced in other theatres throughout the country to the delight of audiences everywhere.
Should you visit PEI real estate some of the central “Anne” places to visit include Lucy Maude’s original home Green Gables House and the Avonlea Village. This “Anne” village was created so that you may experience total Anne and there is of course an Anne onsite to welcome you. Good family fun abounds at Avonlea and Anne and the other characters will have you and your kids lost in the simple fun of another time and place. You will find lots of Anne’s throughout PEI attractions during the summer. More than that you will see every conceivable Annemobilia including dolls straw hats with redpigtails sown in and just about any item that can be connected with the Anne story.
Green Gables is a must see for the Annefan and situated very close to the Avonlea Village. The house is set in period style. Run by Parks Canada each room has a character name from the book. The home is surrounded by wooded trails and is a great spot for a hike.
Traveling in the area that was the setting for Anne’s “life” you really realize what a beautiful setting PEI makes to this heartwarming tale of a little girl who fought hard to be accepted into a family who really needed a boy. In the times of the story PEI real estate was truly agrarian life was much tougher than today and boys were needed to run the farms. Anne Shirley was no quitter though and she came through proving her worth equal to any boy’s.
Islanders are equally tough when it comes to their heroine and they were not amused when there were suggestions that Anne was a lesbian and that there was a lesbian context to the work. http://archives.cbc.ca/arts_entertainment/literature/clips/11220/
I think that this really illustrates how the redhaired orphan has jumped off the pages of her author and found her way into the hearts and minds of everyone who knows her.
When you travel in the Cavendish and Stanley Bridge area be sure to stop into the numerous island craft and gift shops check out the ceilidhs and visit an ice cream social or two as well as the lobster suppers some held in church halls. In this way you will experience both the charm of Anne and the charm of the PEI real estate her island is famous for. Surely these are locked together forever.
